Worship in the Wild Walks

The ‘Worship in the Wild’ walks are monthly ‘contemplative’ walks. Although they have a Christian basis, they are very open to people of all faiths and none. The walks are always circular and include stops along the way to enjoy the landscape in quiet reflection. Sometimes the walks are a little further afield than the immediate area, but they do try and explore our own ‘Conwy patch’ as much as possible.

running clubs

Local Running Clubs

There are three main running clubs that encompass the Conwy area, these are Eryri Harriers, North Wales Road Runners Club (NWRRC) and GOG Triathlon. Each club (from the outside at least) seems to have a slightly different focus. Eryri taking the lead for those who want to focus on fell running and cross country, NWRRC focuses more on the road running side of things, whilst GOG is for triathletes. Below you will find information on each clubs membership, where they are based, and details of their club training.

Eryri welcome runners of all abilities, whether you like to run on the road, cross country, or for what Eryri are best known for, the mountains! They have training meets, on Monday and Thursday evenings in Llanberis, and winter Sunday Morning Runs in different parts of Snowdonia.
